WHY YOGA?

BUILD YOUR PHYSICAL SELF

Yoga will help tone and build strength in your body. It allows you to focus on building a greater range of motion as well as increasing flexibility which in turn helps with injury prevention. If paired with other fitness activities, it aids in reducing next day soreness and burnouts as well as helping the body remain flexible and strong without adding stress to the joints, among many other physical benefits.

IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH

Using yoga for mental and emotional recovery will lead you to strengthen your mindset. It can bring you mental clarity and calmness while reducing anxiety. It aids in balancing out our energy levels as well as helping you develop a deeper understanding and gratitude towards your body and mind through mindfulness, while ultimately attaining peace in all aspects of life.

HEALTHY RANGE OF MOTION

Our classes strongly focuses on breath control, gaining body awareness and understanding correct alignment before taking the practice further. Having a proper understanding of what the correct mobility is for you as an individual, is extremely important to one's practice.

KAELYN

YOGA STUDENT

I have been practicing yoga at Stasis for probably over 8 months now. I originally came to help improve my mobility and flexibility. I found that the instructor Bianca was perfect not only to help me achieve this goal, but because of her understanding of physical health. She never makes you feel shameful for any positions you might not be able to reach, and always provides alternatives, as she understands that some people have injuries or other things prohibiting them from stretching fully. I’ve not only greatly improved my mobility but because of Bianca’s programs, I’ve also been able to gain a lot of strength in muscles that you don’t really expect can get stronger because of the variation in poses. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend stasis because of all it’s done for me and Bianca’s personal way of teaching.
