YOGA STUDENTS

ITEMS FOR CLASS

CELL PHONES

Cell phones are not permitted in the studio. Leave your cell phone in the changerooms, car or with front desk (there is a small bin at front desk where they can hold the phone during class time). Front desk is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Please leave all personal items in the changerooms or in your car. Bags and purses are not to be kept in the studio unless it is a small pouch that is needed for car keys, medication etc. These small pouches will be kept directly beside your mat.

​

WATER

Please bring water to each and every class; however it is recommended to simply sip the water when needed so you limit your washroom use during class. The tap water is completely safe to drink from. We highly recommend using a reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste.

​

YOGA MAT

A yoga mat is required for class. Please bring your own however there are two rental mats at front desk; rental fee $2.

ARRIVING AT THE ACADEMY

CHECK IN

Always check in with front desk upon entering the academy.

OUTDOOR SHOES

Take off outdoor shoes at the door and place them on the shelf in the lounge area.

PUNCTUALITY

ARRIVAL TIME

Please arrive minimum 10 minutes prior for class especially if you are on the trial. This will leave time for the waiver to be signed and to be shown around the academy as well as being introduced to your instructor.

NO LATE-ENTRY

We have a strict NO LATE-ENTRY policy for yoga classes. This is disruptive to your fellow yogis and your teacher. NO exceptions will be made.

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE

NO SYNTHETIC SMELLS (Perfumes, Colognes or Lotions)

Absolutely NO synthetic smells are allowed. This is due to allergies and asthma. We understand that you may be coming from work or another event where you may have used a synthetic scent therefore, we kindly ask you to please wash it off before arriving at the academy.

CLEANING YOUR YOGA MAT

It is recommended to do a thorough, deep clean of your yoga mat once per month by filling a tub with enough water to submerge your mat. Add a small amount of soap/dish soap, scrub your mat, then rinse until the water runs clean. Hang to dry. Some mats absorb a lot of water therefore you want to give your mat enough time to hang dry before your next yoga class.

HEALTH

ILLNESS

If you are feeling sick, do not come to class to avoid spreading germs and getting others sick.

INJURIES

The beauty of yoga is that most of your practice can be modified to help ease any injuries. You can also take particular styles of yoga as an active rest while helping to restore and recover your physical body. Always notify the front desk before attending any class regarding your limitations and injuries, or speak with your teacher directly. Consult with your doctor in the case of a serious injury.

 

UNDER THE INFLUENCE

We are a family friendly business. DO NOT come to class under the influence. It can increase the risk of injury for yourself and your teammates. If you are under the influence, you will be asked to leave class immediately.

CLASS ETTIQUETTE

KEEP IT QUIET

Please refrain from talking while in the studio. Students may be meditating.

STAY UNTIL THE END

Please stay in the room during class (unless absolutely necessary).

​

KEEP IT CLEAN

Please return all props to their proper space after use.

MEMBERSHIPS

NO CONTRACT, ADJUSTABLE MEMBERSHIPS

We have no contract, continuous monthly memberships. They are charged bi weekly (every two weeks). We can adjust your membership as needed meaning if you need to upgrade or downgrade, we can do that for you.

1 ON 1 COACHING

With select memberships you can book a phone call once per month, with the head teacher to chat about motivational help, diet, outside workouts, self improvements etc. This will help keep you consistent with your practice as well as moving forwards to reaching your goals in or outside of the academy.

 

CREDIT SYSTEM

Select memberships are also a part of our Credit System. If a class is missed due to injury, illness or vacation, it is already credited to your membership and you will have one year (as an active student) from your membership start date to use that credit. We always recommend to use your missed class credit as soon as possible so you don't forget it's there.

7 DAY TRIAL

Trial

2 WEEK UNLIMITED TRIAL

You will book in your very first trial class with front desk. You will then receive an email with access to your Member Portal. Through the Member Portal, you get to schedule in your own classes for the duration of the trial. If you need to reschedule a trial class you can do so through the Member Portal or let front desk know as soon as possible. If you are also interested in the jiu jitsu program, please inform front desk to be booked in for both programs during the trial.

TRIAL SPECIAL OFFER

Keep in mind the special offer that we have to help you move forwards on your yoga journey. If you are ready to begin a membership during your first week of the trial, you will be gifted 50% off your first month!
