DUTY BELT RETENTION
The dangers of ending up in a grappling situation is the possibility of the bad guy grabbing hold of a weapon. Here, I have developed strategies that will not only allow for maximum control. But also the ability to protect your duty belt from ill-willed individuals
BITE & SPIT PROTECTION
Throughout the entire Law Enforcement program, the Jiu Jitsu techniques that are taught will give you the ability to protect yourself against those that spit or bite.
DE-ESCALATION
It's important to understand strategies that will contribute to the de-escalation of conflict. Our academy culture focuses on using these skills to control situations with patience and knowledge, rather than aggression and anger.
MEDIA TEST
Part of what makes this program so unique is that I have run through the idea of a potential bystander recording the officer in the midst of an arrest. What they will see is nothing other than skill, focus and mercy, especially when applying the techniques taught.
REGAIN TRUST WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY
It pains me to see good officers be casted as evil when bunched together with those that give law enforcement a bad name. It is part of my duty to help contribute to the reunification of civilian and officer. This can help us return to the days when children would run to shake hands with their local police officer and see them as heroes of the city, rather than enemies of the people.

In only a few classes, I recently found myself in a situation where I had to go hands on with a subject and remembered one of the techniques I learned in class to leverage their arm out from underneath them. I was able to get their arm out and behind their back without having to revert to striking the subject or any use of force options... you need to try out the JJLE class with Professor Estefan. This training is extremely practical to the job and is structured in a way that keeps officer safety and public perception at the forefront. Professor Estefan is highly knowledgeable and teaches in a way that is welcoming to all levels.

I have trained BJJ for 9 years but have never been to an academy that offered a curriculum specifically for law enforcement until now. This program is useful for all law enforcement services... you will benefit from this program. Estefan is an extremely technical black belt who literally has a technique or solution to prevent or negate all the “what if” worst case scenarios. He also provides training cuffs and adjustable duty belts to ensure safety while practicing realistic cuffing of combative people... It’s a great team environment and I’ve made lifelong friendships with others in the program...
